Andrean
Alma Mater
Andrean
School Song
Written and composed by Rev. Edward "Ned" Donoher, C.S.B.
1960.
|
Fr.
Ned never taught at Andrean. He was assigned to come to the Andrean
in 1960, but a change in assignment kept him at Catholic Central in
Detroit. His brother, Fr. Paul Donoher started the music department
at Andrean. The Alma Mater is sung with gusto by Andrean students
at the conclusion of all school Masses, at sporting events and at
graduation.
The Andrean family thanks Father Ned for the song that binds us together.

To our
Alma Mater raise
Voices filled with love and praise.
Our covenant with her shall be
Undying loyalty.
Proudly wearing red and gold,
Her sons and daughters shall uphold
Andrean's fame,
Her glorious name,
her honor ever proclaim.
