Andrean
Ambassadors are students in grades 9 through 12 who have the following
responsibilities: visit and share the Andrean experience with area
parochial grade schools and religious education programs, serve
as tour guides at Andrean's open houses, give assistance during
entrance exams, serve as tour guides for visiting schools, and other
responsibilities during the year. Freshmen ambassadors may be asked
to serve as Shadow Day Hosts for eighth graders.
All
students will be invited to apply in the fall. Selection of students
for ambassadors is based on faculty approval and availability. Training
will take place before open houses. Public speaking is a requirement.
A willingness to share the Andrean experience to a variety of groups
or individual is key to being an ambassador. Ambassadors may be
out of class on several occasions.
Being an Ambassador is one of the most important Andrean public
relation tools, and students will be required to serve for the entire
school year.
